Big Munson Island – FL Keys
Camping on Big Munson Island (“MUNSON!!!!”)
In the morning, we grabbed breakfast, finished with our gear, and got ready to go. We had lunch on the base, and despite some threatening weather, we jumped in our war canoe,and under the awesome navigational skills of our Island Mate Dustin, paddled to Big Munson island.

We finally reached the island, and had to carry all our gear from the docks into the campsite.
After we got to the island, time ceased to have much meaning (especially since none of us brought watches) but we did a lot of cool things.
- Kayaking
- Fishing
- Relaxing
- and especially…Snorkeling
On the last night, we had a special island celebration, before coming back to reality (sigh).
By the way, did I mention our awesome Island Mate, Dustin? He was so awesome, I gave him his own page!
