Saturday, January 6: FYI — discounted Scout and Family skiing / snowboarding / tubing @ Mad River
This is not a Troop 166 event, but a great way to enjoy a day of winter fun at Mad River, as part of Simon Kenton Council. In past years, families have coordinated and enjoyed the day outside:

Monday, January 22, 7:30 – 9 pm. Scout meeting @ church and Troop Committee Meeting
All interested adults are welcome to attend the monthly Troop Committee meeting, which handles the ‘behind the scenes’ part of the troop including trip planning, budgeting, coordinating training and fundraising, etc.
Saturday night, January 27, 9 pm – Sunday, January 28, 8:30 am Rock Climbing Camp In
Back for the 2nd year is our popular Rock Climbing overnight camp in.

Scouts will spend Saturday night at Vertical Adventures — rock climbing from 10 pm – 1 am, then sleeping overnight in the gym.
Equipment, instruction, and food (cracker barrel / breakfast) included. Cost: $30/person.

PACKING INFO
Travel in Class A uniforms. Bring athletic clothes for climbing (shirt and athletic shorts or sweat pants, socks). Bring sleeping bag, plus mess kit, water bottle, and basic toiletries.

Board of Review is the essential final step for scouts who are advancing their rank.
