November Outdoor Event “Pie and Ice Cream”
Friday November 15 – 17, 2019
“Pie and Ice Cream” combines a traditional outdoor hike with a couple of stops for desserts and treats. Trail Hike through nature preserve of State Forest. Have dessert at Clifton Mill restaurant (“Pie”). Trail Hike back to camp for winding-down with some Scout Skill Challenge (knot tying, Fire Starting etc.) After dinner there is a trip for Ice Cream Place for Ice Cream and back to camp for Camp Fire Activites.
We will depart Bexley Methodist Church around 6:00 PM arriving around 7:30 and set up camp on Friday night the 15th at the two Cabins, Fields and Martin at Camp Birch outside Dayton OH. Scouts and adults have the option of cabin or tent camping in nearby Simon Kenton Camp Site.
