Friday. Sept. 6 – Saturday Sept. 7
The Troop assists Recreation and Parks with this fun family event. We help set up tents, build and monitor campfires, help with serving food, and other duties as assigned. Scouts do not need to sign up with Recreation and Parks, just with the Troop. We will be sleeping in tents, so Scouts will need tents, sleeping pads, and personal gear for one night. Only one Scout has signed up. We need additional Scouts and at least one additional adult. Our special relationship with Recreation and Parks for service events like this provides the opportunity to participate for fund raising at the Labor Day Block Party and Harvest festival.
