March Outing

For our March “Welcome Weekend” outing, we’ll be traveling to Camp Lakota, near Defiance, Ohio.

We will be leaving after work on Friday, March 12 – meeting at the church at 5:30 PM and driving the 140 miles to the camp where we will be staying in a cabin.

Saturday, after a hearty breakfast, we’ll spend the day welcoming our newest Scouts and working on advancement skills.

We will be returning on Sunday around noon.

The cost for the outing will be $18. In addition to their other camping gear (remember to consult your Boy Scout Handbook) Scouts should bring a sleeping bag and a pad. Tents will not be needed.

Scouts should bring warm clothes, as we will be outside for most of the day on Saturday.

Remember that we travel in our “Class A” uniforms.

Please let me know if there are quesitons.
