What’s Next

It’s a busy few days for Scouting before we take a break for the holidays.

Friday, December 9 – Planning Overnight

At 6:00 PM, please join us for our annual planning session for the coming year. The Scouts will discuss, prioritize and vote on outings for the coming year. This once-a-year opportunity gives the Scouts a chance to decide what activities that we schedule for the coming 12 months. Got something that you like, don’t like or would like to try? This is the time to bring it up.

After the planning session, we’ll spend the rest of the evening eating, playing games and hanging out. We’ll spend the night in the Fellowship Hall at church. The floors are hard (bring a sleeping bag and mat to sleep on) but it’s warm and dry – hard to find outdoors in December in Ohio.

We’ll be joined overnight by several Webelos and parents who are learning about Scouting (and looking for a Troop to join).

It will be noisy and fun.

Saturday, December 10 – Pancake Breakfast

Up early to cleanup and reset Fellowship Hall for a church event later in the day and off to the Annual Bexley Pancake Breakfast at Jeffery Mansion

We’ll transport Scouts who are working at the Pancake Breakfast (listed below)

Everyone else will need to be picked up at 8 AM at the Church.

We clear and reset tables and fill syrup bottles (and eat pancakes).

Monday, December 12 – Holiday Meeting

Our final Venture Crew meeting (7 PM) and Troop meeting (7:30 PM) of the year, including the gift exchange and desserts.
