At our last Troop Comittee Meeting, we re-aligned the outing schedule for the remaineder of the year. Here is the list of outings for the remainder of the year with the adult coordinator.
- Summer Camp 6/27 – 7/3 – Mrs. Kirschner
- No July outing – National Scout Jamboree
- Whitewater Rafting Outing 8/20 – 8/22
- Put-in-Bay / Pie and Ice Cream Outing 9/10 – 9/12
- High Ropes /Zip Lining Outing 10/15 – 10/17
- Catapult (Pumpkin) Outing 11/12 – 11/14 – Mr. Kirschner
- Movie/Planning Outing 12/11 – 12/12 – Mrs. Kirschner
Items that are not bolded still need coordinators.
Coordinating an outing includes:
- Finding and securing a location
- Coordinating with the Senior Patrol Leader to confirm food, equipment, participation, money collection and permission forms for Scouts
- Coordinating adult food
- Coordinating transportation.
Remember that coordinating means “making sure it gets done” not “doing it”.
