Here’s how we got to Bissett:
We flew Northwest up to Winnipeg, and then arranged for a van from the good folks at Northern Soul. They are former Scouters who now do backcountry outfitting, and they took good care of us on our trip up and back to Bissett. (Plus, we liked the vegetable oil van).
For most trips out of Bissett, the crews take a float plane courtesy of Blue Water Aviation up to the canoe cache at Scout Lake. It was a little rainy on the trip up, but nicer on the way home.
